Power of Attorney (Wiklina)

A. For Ethiopians and Holders of Ethiopian Origin ID

In cases where the applicant signs the Power of Attorney in front of a consular officer at the Embassy, :

  • Document of the Power of attorney that will then be signed in front of a consular officer;
  • Copy of valid Ethiopian passport (for Ethiopian passport holder);
  • Service fee of $62  per document in  Certified bank check made payable to Embassy of Ethiopia.

If all the necessary requirements are fulfilled, the service will be provided on the next  business day.

In cases where the Power of Attorney is sent to the Embassy by mail:

  • Notarized Document of power of attorney by a recognized notary office;
  • Copy of valid Ethiopian passport (for Ethiopian passport holder);
  • Service fee $62 for each authentication payable to the Embassy of Ethiopia Certified bank Check.

If all the necessary requirements are fulfilled, the service will be provided on the next business day.

B. For Turkish and Other Nationals

  • Authenticated documents of the power of attorney by the State Secretary Office in which the applicant is residing.
  • Authentication of the same document by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
  • Copy of passport.
  • Service fee of $95 per document payable to the Embassy of Ethiopia in money order, Cashiers Check, or Certified bank Check;
  • A self addressed return envelope which has a tracking number with it. (for those using mail service);
